A wide range of PARCO LTM microscopes is used in middle and high schools. The head is 45 degrees inclined, 360 degrees rotatable, and has a 3-position reverse nosepiece.
I got this microscope at a high school flea market. A teacher assured me that everything worked. It took me about an hour to take the microscope apart and clean it thoroughly, and I discovered several major problems.
A few of the parts have been salvaged, including 10X & 40X lenses, the WF10X-18MM eyepiece, and the original Chiyoda Japanese light bulb. It would have been mine if it was in excellent condition. The metal construction was heavy-duty and sturdy, and all parts were made from heavy-duty materials.
